Originally from St. Louis, Kate received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing in 2008 from Western Michigan University. From there she moved to Chicago, IL where she began her nursing career in orthopedics at Rush University Medical Center and Midwest Orthopedics at Rush. After many years in Chicago, some of which were spent working alongside Dr. Hannon, she and her family decided it was time to move back home. She joined Washington University Orthopedics as a Nurse Coordinator in 2019. One of Kate’s biggest passions is supporting patients on their joint replacement journey so they can get back to the activities they love.
When not caring for patients, Kate enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, hiking, and cheering on her beloved Green Bay Packers.
Denise is a native of St. Louis and received her Registered Medical Assistant degree from Metro Business College in 2010. She started her career in women’s health at Cape Care for Women, located in Cape Girardeau Missouri. After enjoying several years of working alongside a very caring staff, she made a decision to return home to St. Louis. Denise joined the Washington University organization in 2017 working in MOHS surgery. In 2021, she joined our team at Washington University Orthopedics.
Denise is a full time student who loves to travel, cook, and spend time with her five adult children and their families.
